Meet Tara
Hi. I hope the bits and pieces I share on my website will help you in your search to find the right therapist for your needs. I've lived in the Comox Valley since 2000 with my husband and our two children and I've been a special little one's grandmother for a few years. Balancing the demands of family, partnership, work, and self-care can be very difficult, especially during busy or painful - even traumatic - times. I've done my own deep healing work while trying to juggle many responsibilities. At times I benefitted greatly from consultations with a more experienced guide and at other times I was ready for that deeper work. I am honoured to provide either of those services, meeting each person where they're at.
I've been immersed in the field of psychology and holistic (mind-body-spirit) work for decades, long before finishing grad school to become a professional counsellor. I also love dancing, playing music, creating, and spending time at home with my family and nature. I hope to meet you soon. Feel free to book a complimentary brief session with me to find out if I'm a good fit for you and your needs.
Warmly,
~ Tara
