on our own can be very difficult.

Hi. I'm Tara, a Registered Clinical Counsellor in the Comox Valley, BC.  â€‹ADHD/Neurodivergence, Addiction Recovery, and Relationships are my specializations. Often the three overlap, but not necessarily so. People seek my help to gain perspective and sort through thoughts and feelings - including trauma - as they re-evaluate their experiences as part of a couple, as concerned parents, as adult children, as employees, or as persons in recovery. They want to be seen and heard by someone who has the experience and skill to help figure out next steps and feel more secure within themselves and their relationships.

Some of the underlying relationship issues I help with include:

codependency, adverse childhood experiences, toxic communication patterns, grief and loss, life transitions, and trauma.

Over the last 12 years, I have worked with people on every issue imaginable. I have found that when we are a good fit, we can work through most anything together.
