Tara Hope is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and Certified Teacher with a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology and Bachelors degrees in education, honours psychology and English. She works with individuals, couples and families who are seeking peace with themselves and others.  Her diverse background includes work as a school counsellor, coach, artist, and competitive, national-level athlete. 

Tara also works as a counsellor with Upper Island Counselling Services, a well-established team of professional counsellors providing employee and family assistance to member organisations in Campbell River, the Comox Valley, and beyond.  

Mindful, meditative practice is an important part of Tara's life journey, as are skiing, mountain biking,  walks in the woods, and a sense of humour.  She and her husband have lived in the Comox Valley for nearly 20 years and have two teenaged and young adult children.
