Background

Originally from Halifax, I have lived in the Comox Valley since 2000 with my husband and our two kids and many pets I like to say I "rescued".  I have been a competitive, national-level athlete in a couple of sports, a performing artist (wearable art and now theatrical clowning), an entrepreneur, a mountain biker, cross-country skier, a writer and other stuff I listed above.  I am down-to-earth, intuitive, and very caring.  I am not a "blank-slate therapist" - for example, I will tell you here that I was diagnosed with ADHD at age 55 and that I was born in 1967.  If that's not relevant for what you are seeking help with, my having ADHD simply means (in my case) that I am very focused on doing an excellent job, I'm very honest and forthcoming so you won't have to guess what I'm thinking, and I have multiple clocks and calendars in my office.  Also I have a sense of humour and you may hear a hint of my Nova Scotian accent.
